A flight flying from Atlanta to Barcelona was forced to land after just two hours of trajectory when a man’s health took an ugly turn and left the flight's crew and passengers with no choice. The man was reportedly suffering from diarrhoea, and ended up pooping on the entire aisle. The incident took place on September 10 onboard the Delta Airlines Airbus A350. Soon after the incident, the odour became so unbearable that the decision to land was taken. The incident came to light after an audio of the pilot informing about the incident to the control room surfaced online. As soon as the post went on social media, people were quick to react to the matter. Most of the netizens were left laughing as they found it funny. Some netizens who were on the same aircraft also opened up about the mess.
The audio was shared on social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘thenewarea51'. The post was captioned, "A Delta Airlines Airbus A350 turned around back to Atlanta Friday night because of diarrhoea throughout the aeroplane from a passenger and it’s a biohazard."
The post included an audio, where the pilot was heard saying, "This is a biohazard issue." The pilot was further heard telling that a passenger pooped all over the flight due to diarrhoea.

The post and the incident went instantly viral as the people found it hilarious. Some people sympathised with the man’s health, while some passengers from the same flight recalled the incident and narrated the entire thing. The post was shared on September 04 and pulled a whopping 9.6M views.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “My partner was on that flight! It was pretty bad. It was dribbled down the aisle and smelled horrible. The vanilla-scented disinfectant used on it only made it smell bad. After the plane landed, it was thoroughly cleaned. They didn’t leave until around 2:30 am,” a user said. “And so I'm left with a question. How much poop does it take to turn an A350 around?” asked another netizen. “I saw a pic showing the aisle, it was literally down the 'entire' aisle!” added a third. “Both my wife and I were on the flight. It was a mess. The pilots made the right decision to turn around. The ground crew ripped out the carpet and put new in. Considering the circumstances, the ground crew did a great job, along with the attendants and the pilots,” added another.
