Viral Video: In recent years, parents have somehow managed to make ‘Christmas trauma’ a thing for their kids. From ‘not touching the elf’ to ‘Santa’s naughty list’, the list has grown drastically as far as ‘Christmas No-Nos’ are concerned. Social media has been witnessing many videos where kids received a traumatic experience for accidentally touching the elf or something similar, as part of ‘festive fun’. And now, a new trick by parents is in the town and the internet is divided, yet again; Grinch stealing gifts. Yes, you read that correctly. A video was shared on the internet, where a few kids ended up making a core ‘trauma’ rather than ‘memory’, where their gifts were stolen by the Grinch.

What made the entire thing further ‘questionable’, was that the entire act took place in front of their parents, who were laughing and ‘acting’ the entire time. As soon as the clip went viral, it divided the internet.

The video was shared on the social media site Instagram, by the handle ‘Pubity’. The post was captioned, “The Grinch tries to steal the kids’ presents.”

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Next year they’re all getting therapy for Christmas,” a user said. “They tried that in the South and the Grinch was shot 7 times,” said a second person. “Should have dressed as Krampus and took the kids,” commented a third user. “Rich people are so awesome at creating traumas,” joined a fourth netizen. “In my case, Santa was merged with Grinch and was coming just to show us the gifts, to tell us that we don't *deserve them and to leave,” added next.

“The only thing I know is their stay is super cozy,” said next. “I want to see their face after 20 years when they see this video,” commented next.
