A young kid became an internet sensation after his heartwarming gesture won many on social media. The said kid, Ankit, managed to collect a hefty amount of Rs 7000 cash prize through his weekend tournaments. However, unlike many others of his age, the young one decided to use that money to gift a phone worth Rs 2000 to the house cook, Saroja, who reportedly raised the boy since he was just 6 months old. Taking to the internet, Ankit’s father shared the post narrating the same story, which soon went viral as netizens were quick to hail the boy for his gesture and his parents for their parenting skills. 

The post was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘cricketbalaji1’. The post was captioned, “Ankit has so far earned 7K by playing weekend tournaments. And today he got our Cook Saroja a mobile phone for 2K from his winnings. She has been taking care of him since when he was 6 Months. As parents @meerabalaji3107 I can’t be more happier.”

The post went viral in an instant as it won the entire internet. Most people loved the kid’s mannerisms and thoughtfulness, while others hailed the ‘commendable’ parenting that was evident in the kid’s gestures. The post was shared yesterday and was viewed 370K times by people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Amazing beta. God bless you. Can I take a screenshot of this story and put it out in my fly WhatsApp group,” a user said. “Sir we got vicky tennis ball ya parle G biscuit when we won matches in our playing days,” said a second person. “What is he playing?” asked a third user. “The kid is going to go a long way.
