Viral Video: Social media, in recent years, has been witnessing more videos where people seem to act as if traffic rules did not exist and ‘responsible driving’ is a joke. Adding to the list, yet another video surfaced online, where a few students were seen openly violating traffic rules in Bangalore. In the video, a few people were seen dancing in a moving car as they used the vehicle’s sunroof to hang out from the vehicle. The said video was recorded from another vehicle that was behind the group, which immediately went viral on social media and left netizens irked. The date of the incident was not confirmed, but as per the viral video, the incident took place on the Airport Road in the city.
The video was shared on the social media site Instagram, by the handle ‘nabilajamal_’. The post was captioned, “Bangalore defo needs more police checkpoints. *Enroute Bangalore International Airport.”

The video is doing rounds on the internet for all the wrong reasons. Most people accused such kids of road accidents and other vehicle-related mishaps, while others chastised the students for the immature act. Many also demanded strict action over the matter. The post was shared two days ago and pulled 471K views by peoplẹ.
As the video went viral, it soon came to the notice of the police, who were quick to take action as the students involved were then reportedly apprehended. The police apprehended 4 students in total, where they were reportedly charged under Section 184 (dangerous driving) of the MV (The Motor Vehicles) Act, Section 283 (creating danger or obstruction in a public way), and Section 279 (endangering human life through rash or negligent driving).
Taking to the comment section, people shared their views. “I wonder what the excitement is all about,” a user said. “What exactly is wrong here? Are they driving rashly? What if all these were just out without any enjoyment, I don't this would have been posted,” said a second. “Be it Goa, Ladakh, Jaisalmer Pune, or Bangalore, it’s the same everywhere,” commented a third. “Not even surprised with that DL number plate lol,” pointed next.
“Looks like they seem to be in a hurry to catch a flight to heaven,” joined another. “Chapris of Delhi instead of being shameful is proud of this behaviour. They have a car, so they won't be called Capri. But this is ultra chapri behaviour,” said next.
