Jhansi Viral Video: With the organisers arranging for Russian artists for an entertaining dancer performance for the ‘Jalvihar Mahotsav’ event in Uttar Pradfesh’s Jhansi, the function was effortlessly able to pull a large amount crowd who were eager to enjoy the exotic dance performance. But the entire plan went down the drain when the lively performance led to a mini-stampede as the audience broke into chaos and ended up displaying some animal-like behaviour during the event. The situation escalated rapidly and reached the level that the police had to intervene and Lathi charge at people to control the over-excited crowd. As soon as the incident surfaced online, most netizens were left irked over the behaviour displayed by people and condemned the matter. 

The incident reportedly took place in Jhansi’s Mauranipur during the event on the night of October 05. The incident was reportedly triggered after a few people overpowered the barricades and attempted to enter the stage. Immediately after the chaos, many events were canceled, and the injured victims were hospitalised.

The video was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the user ‘Shashikant8874’. The post was captioned, “Watch this video how mercilessly the youth are being beaten #पुलिस . This is the video of Jhasi. Youths were also beaten with belts by private bouncers. #jhansi #up #festivals #mahotsav.”

The video instantly went viral as people started reacting to the incident. Most people condemned the behaviour that the public displayed after watching the exotic performance. Many also chastised the mindset that was seen during the performance by the artist and spoke on the level at which the police had to intervene just to control the overexcited mass. The video was shared today and pulled several views from the netizens.
