Snake Viral Video: A government college in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruvannamalai found itself in the eye of the storm after a video raising a whole lot of questions about the institute's safety, security and hygiene was shared online. The said video showed a horrifying situation where multiple snakes were seen slithering in a poorly maintained women’s toilet. As per reports, the snakes were a result of poor toilet sanitation that seemingly led to snake infestation. As per the post, the college has around 8,500 students, which further left the internet irked over students’ safety. The video went viral and left the internet petrified.
Most commented on the college administration and questioned the student's safety and well-being, while the rest dubbed the incident ‘disgusting’ to look at. Many also tagged the authorities and demanded answers.
The snake video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘karnatakaportf’. The post was captioned, “In a government college in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvannamalai, poor sanitation in the bathroom has led to snakes breeding in a filthy commode. Arignar Anna College, where 8,500 students study in two shifts, had complained about the poor sanitation in the bathroom.” The video was shared yesterday and pulled countless views.

Taking to social media people shared their take. This is nothing but a nightmare that I would never want to see. Like I would simply burn that toilet up to ask because what even is that? That is just horrible, scary, and disgusting all packed in one. I want to unsee it,” a user commented on the internet.
“I just want to set this thing on fire. Like how a working and active college turned so bad that it got infested with one of the most deadly animals in the world. This college and its administration need a strike action and possibly suspension because why did not check what was happening,” added a second person.
