Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha: On Diwali last year, people had a major disappointment when the authorities passed the rule against firecrackers, leaving many with a festival of literally just the lights. However, all the excitement is back with a new ‘spirit’, as the nation is all set to celebrate a new Diwali-like festival; Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha. And this time, there is no ban yet. So automatically, connecting the dots a bit too quickly, people are all set to fill the day with crazy celebrations to welcome Lord Ram, including with the bursting of firecrackers. The same excitement has also taken over the internet, as netizens flooded social media with hilarious memes depicting the same. 

The much-awaited Ram Temple’s consecration ceremony will be held today, January 22. From political personalities to celebrities, more than 7000 guests will attend the event, while the inaugural ceremony will begin at around 12:20 PM. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also participate in the ceremony. The guests will also be reportedly handed bells to ring during the main Aarti. 

Amid all this, it's only natural that several Diwali and firecrackers-related memes and jokes are back on social media, and Indians are loving them.
