The founder and CEO of the famous Khan Academy, Salman Amin Khan, revealed that he is often confused with Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Khan, who is more popular by the name Sal Khan, made the revelation while he was attending the podcast ‘Unconfuse Me’. The newly aired podcast is a show that is hosted by Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates. The hilarious revelation left the netizens chuckling all over the internet.

Sal Khan was invited to attend the second episode of Gates’ new podcast. The two spoke on the role of AI in education and its transformation. While speaking on the ‘Sal and Salman’ confusion, the philanthropist asked if Sal is ever confused with the Bollywood actor, keeping in mind that the search results for both names are quite similar, with the actor coming on the top. Answering the question, Sal said that he received letters from the fans who confused him with the actor during the initial years of the academy. “I do. In fact, in the early days of Khan Academy, I got letters from some of his fans saying I’ve always been in love with you, and now I didn’t know you could do math and all that,” Khan was quoted saying on the show.

The two CEOs also talked about their other interests, where Sal mentioned about his love for Bollywood films.

Khan Academy is an American non-profit organisation. It was founded in 2006 and helps students by educating them through short videos on chosen lessons. It also provides supplementary practice exercises and other such materials.
