Liam Payne Death: It was 2010, and as the judges of the British version of the reality show X Factor were putting together a new and promising boy band by banding together 5 of the cutest contestants, no one ever even imagined that THIS is how the fate of one of the band members would end in the next 13 to 14 years. Liam Payne, the much-loved British singer who was part of the boy band One Direction, died at the age of 31 on October 16. The singer reportedly fell from his ‘third-floor room balcony’ at a hotel in Argentina’s Buenos Aires. As per reports, the hotel earlier also called the Argentine Police for help, as a guest was in danger due to being possibly intoxicated in a room with a balcony.

The police were then called after the hotel manager reportedly heard a ‘loud noise’, only to find a fallen man at the back of the hotel. Payne was reportedly declared dead on the spot by the emergency workers. As soon as the news of the sad demise broke on social media, people- especially One Direction fans- began to mourn the untimely loss. As per reports, people also gathered outside the hotel with candles, as they expressed their grief for the singer’s death.

For those not aware, Payne was part of the ever famous boy band One Direction, along with other members- Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik. The group was formed in 2010 and disbanded in 2016. Payne was signed with Universal Music Group-owned record label, Republic Records. He made his solo career debut with the track ‘Strip That Down’, which went instantly viral. The British singer also had a son, Bear, with singer Cheryl.

“Rest in peace Liam Payne, we'll always love you,” a user said.

“Pics of Liam Payne’s hotel room just leaked,” added a second person.

“Liam Payne, an hour before dying, posting on Snapchat,” added a third person.

“Rest in peace Liam Payne. You will be forever loved, always missed and never forgotten. Sending so much love to those who loved you, your family, your friends, your One Direction brothers and the Directioners, and so much love to your son Bear,” added a fourth user.

“The fact that this was recorded last night and Liam Payne was singing a Spanish song to his fan, it’s so sad. You can see he is smiling with lost eyes! Rest in peace, angel,” added another.
