The popular Corgi, Olivia, from the famous Hamilton and Olivia duo sadly died yesterday, November 08, after suffering from a kidney related issue. The sad news was announced on the duo’s official social media handle by their human friend, Chris. The ‘furry star’ died at the age of 8, the news of which left the fans shocked and devastated. As soon as the video of the announcement was shared on the internet, netizens began to express their grief over the pet dog’s demise. The pet sibling duo was famous for hilarious short clips, where they acted along with their human. The reels also often featured the duo’s cat friends. The duo became famous back in 2020, and since then, their internet fame only rose further, gaining millions of fans. The video was shared on the furry one’s official Instagram handle ‘hammyandolivia’.

The video went viral as people expressed their grief over Olivia’s demise. Most recalled Olivia’s wholesome videos and commented about missing her, while others sympathised with the furry one’s human friend. The video was shared yesterday and has been viewed by 219K fans so far.

Taking to the comment box, netizens expressed their grief. “Dogs don't pass away. They go to live in the owner’s heart,” a user said. “Thank you for being her person. We’re all crying with you,” added a second person. “We’re so so sorry for your loss. Olivia was such an amazing dog and we will all miss her so much. We’re sending lots of love to you and your family,” added a third person. “My heart is broken for you. I hope you are comforted by her memory and the legacy you have created for her. The dog community loves you,” said a fourth netizen. “I am sooo sorry to hear about your precious Olivia being taken so quickly without any warning. My first dog Ashley had an intestinal blockage and within two days she was gone. We feel your pain and your loss of Olivia. May she be resting in peace and without pain. So many supportive and understanding going to you and your family from our family. We are absolutely heartbroken,” added another.
