In the past years, social media has witnessed some of the best resignation letters or even notes that were shared by some ‘OG’ employees. From a simple resignation text reading, ‘I am leaving the office’ to 2-word mails like ‘I’m resigning’, people were quick to become the talk of the town for their ‘savage resignations’. And now, another hilarious resignation letter joined the bandwagon, where a company CFO borrowed his kid’s notebook page to write the resignation letter. The picture of the letter was sent to the company. A post sharing the same surfaced online and immediately went viral.

The post was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘chandsethu’. The post was captioned, “This CFO seems to have borrowed a page from his kid's rough notebook and written a resignation letter in that and uploaded in BSE. Listed companies in India.”

The post went viral and received countless reactions. Some found the man’s idea ‘smart’ and called the resignation ‘savage’, while others dubbed it ‘lazy’ yet ‘impressive’. Many also found it hilarious and shared jokes on the same. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 221K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Is this for real?” a user asked. “It may not be in proper form. However, it conveys substance and meets the legal requirements. Adds some flavour to the drab letters we keep seeing. And for some, it's a news story and conversation starter,” added a second person. “Not just borrowing paper, it looks like it was written by his kid as well. Page is not even torn from the book,” pointed out another. “Nice handwriting by the way! Looks like his kid has written this note,” said next.

“This is a keeper for the archives. Would like to meet this Rinku Patel no?” asked another. “How to resign from your job and still be the talk of the town Hack 101,” said another.
