Indian-German Comedian Viral Video: What happens when an Indian-German comedian turns everyday office struggles into comedy? The internet can’t stop laughing. Akshay, known for his witty take on immigrant life, has gone viral for his latest video on Germany’s corporate culture. He hilariously describes the awkwardness of workplace bonding, joking, “German corporate is where immigrants are trying to make friends with Germans, while Germans are also trying to make friends with Germans.” Even lunch breaks aren’t spared from his sharp humour, as he adds, “They microwave their food and your self-esteem.”

Akshay also highlights the struggles of mundane office tasks. Talking about printers, he says, “To get a printout at a German office, you need patience, grief, your birth certificate and all five stages of IT support.” Recalling a personal moment, he says, “I once cracked a joke in a team meeting. They scheduled a session about tone and professionalism.”

But the punchline that made viewers laugh the most was, “At the Christmas party, they asked me if I was a new intern. I’d worked there for three years.”

His humour strikes a chord with immigrants and professionals worldwide who know the challenges of navigating a rigid corporate culture. No wonder his video has spread like wildfire online. The post shared on Instagram garnered 1.2 million views from social media users.

"Sounds like paradise for introverts like me," a user wrote. "As the only immigrant in our Corporate Team, I once made a joke about Immigrants... guess what happened? I won an online training "break the bias," the immigrant was me memeee," a second user wrote. "They microwave their food and your self-esteem...sounds about right to me," wrote a third user.

"I'm German and I don't want to take lunch with my colleagues. I want to eat in peace. And yes, I hate small talk. But most of all, I don't want to make friends. I just want to do a good job, trying to be nice and go home. Sorry," added a fourth user. "I worked in Germany for 10 years. In the beginning, I also experienced the same, but then I realized how extremely nice some of these people are. If you become friends with them, they're friends for life. Give them a chance, and try a little bit to reach out, ask to go for lunch, etc. These people will be like your family," added another user.
