Winning a cup after 11 long years was reason enough for fans to go crazy, and that is exactly what happened when the Indian National Cricket Team clinched the T20 World Cup of 2024 on June 29 in Barbados. From grand welcomes to breakfast with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the team was celebrated in all kinds of ways after they landed in Delhi, in the early morning on July 04. However, among all the scheduled events, what etched history was the grand celebration that took place in Mumbai, as the victorious ‘Man in Blue’ held a victory parade from the Nariman Point and the Wankhede Stadium yesterday. Video and pictures of the team being greeted by an ocean of fans were far too overwhelming to not go viral.
Despite the parade getting delayed by almost 2 hours, the fans did not leave without celebrating the team and their arrival with the cup. The love shown by fans was surely a sight to behold, but among all the fans, there was one man who completely stole the spotlight. Believe it or not, the players who beat some of the most excellent teams to win their T20 cup, apparently got scared by this man. The man was up on a tree to get a better shot of the players, the image of which went viral on social media.
The post was shattered on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘mufaddal_vohra’. The image was captioned, “The guy who was sitting on the tree, scared the Indian players.”

Some also called it ‘epic meme material’, while the rest wanted to see the picture the man clicked. The post was shared yesterday and pulled more than a million views.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “He clicked this pic,” a user said. “What a day it has been. Truly something else entire in the history of cricket,” commented a second person. “Show me better than this- Rohit Sharma with the trophy he always deserved,” added a third user.
“Fckk what meme-worthy material,” added another. “Bro is more popular than some of the Bollywood stars,” joked a fifth person. “Quite the unexpected scare tactic!” added another. “Anyone know this Guy Socials? Let's make him famous,” added a seventh user. “That's gonna be a smashing meme material for sure,” added another.
