Delhi Metro Viral Video: After a video of a young couple engaging in intimate actions went viral on social media, another undated video purportedly showing a man lighting a beedi in a Delhi Metro compartment has been making rounds on the internet. Taking cognizance of the matter, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) issued a statement as several people on social media demanded action against the perpetrator.

"We conduct random checking through flying squads to detect any such objectionable behaviour. We appeal to the public to instantly bring up such instances to our notice so that immediate action can be taken," the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said in a statement.

This is not the first time such an incident has been reported in the Delhi metro, there are multiple instances when Delhi metro has been in the news. Recently, a video of a couple kissing inside the metro coach went viral. The viral video showed a young couple engaged in a PDA act as they can be seen hugging and kissing each other in front of passengers.

In recent years, the Delhi metro has developed into more than just a mode of transportation. Delhi residents see various kinds of events on the metro on a regular basis, from dance performances to fist fights. Recently, two passengers added another event to the list when they argued over a seat on public transport.

A woman and a man got into a fight because the male didn't like being asked to leave the "reserved seat" for women. When the viral video of the incident first appeared online, the netizens' reactions were divided. The video was shared on Reddit by the handle ‘Total Kalesh’, with the title, “Uncle Aunty Mai Kalesh for Ladies' Seat in Delhi Metro.”
