Viral Video: The Moon that shone on the night of October 20, might have been a normal one for the rest of the world, but for Hindus, it was one of the most important and valued ones. The much-hailed Hindu festival Karwa Chauth was celebrated on October 20 this year, resulting in many couples keeping the Karwa Chauth fast for their partners’ good health and longer lives. Amid this, an elderly man stole all the spotlight as he decided to also keep fast for his ‘Pasandida Aurat’. However, it was not the fast that made him hit trends but rather the person he decided to keep the fast for; adult star Mia Khalifa. Yes, a video was shared on social media, where the elderly man was seen breaking his Karwa Chauth fast that he seemingly kept for Khalifa.

The video, after going viral, was quick to pull many reactions. Most people found the video hilarious and joined in with their own set of jokes, while a few found the elderly’s act as a ‘disrespect’ towards the much-preached Hindu festival.

The Mia Khalifa video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘guru_ji_ayodhya’. The post was captioned, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes on Karvachauth.” The video was shared two days ago and pulled more than 11K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “I think that's only... .. . JUST FOR FUN. So... Don't take it seriously.....just look and go,” a user said. “Good example of Hindu-Muslim unity,” added a second person. “Guys, it's not that serious. The man is simply having fun. No need to go crazy in the comments section,” added another.

“Baba, 'Karwa Chauth' is a sacred Hindu festival which shows the selfless love of a wife for her husband and is observed for the longevity of the husband. Don't make fun of it like this. You are old, that's why I am controlling my tongue, otherwise, I would have torn you apart,” commented a fourth person.
