Viral Video: If Claustrophobia is one of your phobias, this water slide surely would have been one of the worst choices for you. An almost deadly water slide, that reportedly operated between 1994 to 2010 in Netherlands’ Duinrell Amusement Park, was popular for its design and ‘thrill’. It connected two separate swimming pools and was fully submerged in the water. Yes, you guessed it- that meant that people using the slide slid from one end to another while holding their breath for a good 15 to 20 seconds. An old video of a man using the same slide recently surfaced online and went viral.
Reportedly, the slide never witnessed any casualties but was anyway closed. As soon as the video went viral, people were quick to recall their Claustrophobia.

The video went viral and drew all kinds of reactions. Some cracked jokes about how they would have never tried the slide, while the rest spoke about their fear of water and closed spaces.

The video was shared on social media platform Reddit, by Redditor ‘LexicalLegend’. The post was captioned, “There was a water slide at Duinrell amusement park in the Netherlands that operated from 1994 to 2010. It was filled to the brim with water, leaving riders completely submerged throughout their 15-20 second journey.”

The video was shared two days ago and pulled 40K upvotes from people.
