Viral Video: Cats and kittens are more than enough to leave most people with a bright smile and a full heart solely over their ‘infinite’ level of cuteness. With that said, one can only imagine the impression a video of a cat and its kittens, being helped by yet another adorable animal- an otter- left on social media after it was shared. The said video showed the otter adorably helping out the tired mama cat as the furry one was seen caring for the cat’s kittens. Picking up a kitten that was a bit too far from the mother cat, the otter was seen putting the little one back with the rest of the babies. It goes without saying that the clip left the internet with melted hearts as people were quick to fall for the heartwarming scenario.

The cat video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘buitengebieden’. The post was captioned, “Otter helping mommy cat with her kittens.” The video was shared two days ago and pulled more than 10 million views from people.

The video, after being shared, went viral and pulled many reactions. Most people loved how careful the otter was while handling the kitten, while the rest simply dubbed the incident a scene straight out of animated movies.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Because every timeline needs a helping otter,” a user said. “Video is reversed, he's stealing the baby because they the kittens are too cute and he loves to care for them,” added a second person. “Man how come these furry ones are this cute,” added another.

“An otter should actually be the last animal you allow to be around a kitten. But maybe this one is an exception. You never know,” added a fourth person. “It’s heartwarming to see such unexpected animal friendships and teamwork,” added a fifth user. “Other species are capable of recognizing another species' infants,” commented another.
