Viral Video: Conspiracy and multiverse theories skyrocketed after a breathtaking video recorded in China was shared on social media. Turning into an absolute treat for science lovers and stargazers, the clip in question showed seven suns brightening the sky in the most beautiful yellowish-orange. As soon as the clip was shared on the internet, it left social media in a frenzy as people couldn't believe their eyes. Turned out, it was simply an illusion as the video was recorded from inside a glassed building, where the window pane resulted in creating the illusion. The video was reportedly recorded in Chengdu, southwest of Sichuan on August 19. As per the New York Post, the video was recorded by ‘Ms. Wang’, where he noticed the ‘optical illusion’ caused by ‘light refracting’.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘RealBigClutch’. The post was captioned, “Seven 'Suns' appear in China's Sichuan sky: viral video shows multiple suns In Chengdu skies, a stunning phenomenon due to refraction and dispersion of light!”

Taking to the internet, people shared their take. “Oh wow - so the Chinese myth can actually be understood,” a user said. “If this incident happened in the sky then why is only one video available on the internet? Are mobile phones and cameras banned in that city? This is just a beginner VFX student’s video project,” added a second person.
“How much does China pay for graphics artists,” added a third person. “Wow! Never heard of that happening before,” joined a fourth person. “Here, the sun doesn't look like millions of miles away,” commented a fifth person. “Atmospheric optical phenomenon. This amazing phenomenon is the result of the refraction and dispersion of light,” added another.
