Viral Video: Despite it being something that deserves the most privacy, defecation and urination in public are two of the most common practices in India. So much so that India- at this point- has created a global image of being a nation where open defecation is quite a huge issue. However, highlighting similar instances happening in other nations as well, a man shared a questionable video on social media. The video in question showed a man urinating on the metro tracks in Japan. The metro station was heavily crowded, with many commuters passing by him, but that hardly affected the man. The date and the exact location of the incident could not be confirmed. He was later seen being taken away by an officer in the video.
The video, after getting shared, received much criticism. Most people found the video disgusting and compared its similarities with open defecation issues in India. Many also chastised the man for such a decision.
The Japan video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘aravind’. The video was shared a few days ago and pulled more than a million views from people.

India is much better than many places in the world!” commented a second person. “This is just disgusting,” added a third person.
“They do drink a lot of beer after work in Japan, so it’s normal to take a leak,” added a fourth person. “Good thing he did not pee on the 3rd rail,” added another. “Man peeing like this in Japan: 0.001% probability! Man peeing like this in India: 10% probability!” commented a sixth netizen.
