Viral Video: This is not new that people crowd the trains without buying the tickets and travel to their destinations. However, this phenomenon mostly happens in the sleeper coach while the AC compartments of a train are considered to be more secure. Looks like that has changed. A video is going viral on the internet in which ticketless passengers can be seen crowding the first AC compartment of Mahananda Express. The video has raised many concerns over the safety of the passengers leading to the railways reacting to the issue.

The viral video was shared by a woman passenger named Swati Raj on her social media which grabbed quick attention. She tagged the Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishaw with her post and wrote, "This is the current situation of AC 1st tier in Mahananda 15483. I request management to check this immediately as we are not feeling safe when we are paying extra for it."

Soon after the video went viral, Railway Seva asked her to share the PNR number and her mobile number for immediate action. The tweet read, "We request you to please share the journey details (PNR/UTS No.) and Mobile No. with us preferably via DM. You may also raise your concern directly at http://railmadad.indianrailways.gov.in or dial 139 for speedy redressal."

This isn't the first time that passengers have raised such an issue about ticketless passengers. Netizens were enraged as soon as the video dropped on the internet and shared their thoughts about the same. An X user questioned, "Why do I feel that suddenly this unreserved entering AC coaches has increased? Does it seem like a pattern?."

Another user said, "After paying a high price, the passengers face such troubles from trespassers. This is a shameful failure of Indian Railways. Ticket collectors (TCs) are very corrupt, and there is no security on trains. It is better to take a flight than to travel in such messy, crowded trains!"

"@RailMinIndia pathetic state of affairs. If this is the state of a 1st AC coach, then the 3rd AC, Sleeper and General coaches can be rightly called cattle class," said another netizen.
