Viral Video: Price negotiations after or before getting the services are quite common all around the world, especially in India. Doing something similar, a woman tried to negotiate the price with a travel company but ended up regretting the decision. The incident took place in Raipur, where the woman in question ended up getting brutally beaten up by the travel company employees. The video of the same was shared on social media and instantly went viral. Most people found the incident funny, while some called it violent and unjust. The video was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’. The post was captioned, “Kalesh b/w Travel company woman and a Lady over fare prices in Raipur.”

In the video, a group of women were seen beating up a single woman on a roadside. The brawl seemed brutal as the group pulled the girl’s hair and continued to punch her ruthlessly. The group with the upper hand was in uniforms.

The video instantly went viral as people found the incident hilarious despite it being violent. Most people cracked jokes on the matter and spoke of the girl’s regret for trying to negotiate the price, while others called the act violent and uncalled for and chastised the group for beating up the customer. The video was shared a day ago and pulled 87.4K views from the netizens.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Galti krdi usne fare price ke liye argument karke (She committed a huge mistake by negotiating the price),” a user said. “Street fight chal raha hye ye to (This is a street fight),” added a second. “Maybe that’s why offices do not allow office unions,” added a third person. “Lagta hai modi ji ki nari shakti wala jumla zyada effective ho gaya (It seems as if PM Modi’s woman empowerment scheme worked too well),” added a fourth user. “This is extremely brutal,” said a fifth netizen. “The girl must have been hurt after this, why are they just making a video and not stopping the violent act,” asked another.
