Agra Mero Viral Video: Picture this: a Haldi ceremony, not in a banquet hall or a garden, but inside a moving metro train. Sounds like a scene from a movie, right? Well, Agra-based vlogger Divyata Upadhyay turned this idea into reality. Her Instagram reel, capturing the vibrant pre-wedding ritual inside an Agra Metro coach, left the internet divided—some were in awe of the creativity, while others questioned the unconventional choice of venue.

In the viral video, the vlogger is seen inside the Agra Metro, saying, "While Delhi's metro is crowded, Agra's metro is hosting a Haldi function." She then gives a glimpse of the nearly empty metro coach, with only a few passengers visible. Towards the end of the video, she adds, "If you’re looking for a unique venue to celebrate your birthday or wedding festivities, come to Agra Metro!"

The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) was quick to address the speculation. Responding to the viral post, they clarified that the gathering inside the Agra Metro was not a Haldi ceremony but a private Basant Panchami-themed celebration. In their statement, they emphasised, "This is to inform that this wasn’t a Haldi Function, but a private Basant Panchmi themed party.
Any kind of wedding festivities are not permitted inside Agra Metro. Any kind of misinformation is discouraged."

The viral video was posted on the vlogger's official Instagram account, ‘approved_by_divyata.’ Shared just two days ago, it quickly garnered 3.6 million views from social media users. The post was captioned, "Would you prefer celebrating in a Metro coach without food?"

However, the clarification didn’t go down well with everyone. The comment section quickly filled with questions and sarcastic remarks, as users expressed their skepticism and amusement. One user questioned, "Like seriously??? If they don’t allow eatables inside, what about the Haldi stains after the function?" Another sarcastically added, "Not a Haldi function but a ‘themed Basant Panchami kitty party’—but WHY in the METRO??" A third user joked, "Delhi Metro be like: ‘Gundai karna chahta hai, karne do.’" Meanwhile, another quipped, "Madam, Agra Metro main commuters hi nahi hote... This was bound to happen."
