Viral Video: Math might have been one of the least exciting subjects for many in school, but as students, we often enjoyed discovering tricks and tips to memorise tables and formulas. A recent viral video has brought back a fun trick you may remember from learning the table of 9. The video, shared by Instagram user @bigduke13_, a digital content creator, claims that the number 9 is the most powerful in the world. The video has captured the attention of users, with many saying they never noticed this property of the number 9.
In the video, a man explains that when 9 is multiplied by any number, the sum of the resulting digits will always equal 9. Using a calculator, he provides several examples to prove his point. First, he multiplies 9 by 9, resulting in 81. Adding the digits (8 + 1) gives 9. Next, he multiplies 147 by 9, which equals 1,323. Adding those digits (1 + 3 + 2 + 3) also gives 9. He presents more examples, illustrating this fascinating pattern.
The video quickly went viral, attracting many reactions from viewers. While some were impressed by the trick, others said they had already learned it in school and questioned how it makes the number 9 powerful.

Let's dive into the comments section. "0 is the most powerful. You can multiply it with any number and it stays the same. And then if you try to divide with it, it's either 0 or impossible!" a user wrote. "How does that make a number "powerful"?" added another user. "The number specifying the ratio between a circle's circumference and its diameter is more powerful," added a third user. "What's the word "powerful" doing here. It's like comparing complex numbers. Then I'd say 2. It's the only even prime.. it has prime to it. Half of the entire whole number is not prime because of this guy," added a third user.
"Division rule by 9 is the sum of all digits that must be divisible to 9. So it is not interesting," another user commented. "That's just how base 10 works homie, well-documented function of mathematics works for all the base systems," added a fifth user. "It's zero. You can multiply it with any number and the answer is always zero. Tried it," added another user.
