Niharikaa Kaur Sodhi's Viral Tweet: Every country has its level of ‘quality of life’ to offer to its citizens, and it goes without saying that some countries are better at it than the rest. Social media is full of netizens sharing their opinions on the same, which has frequently triggered quite a number of debates. Adding to the list, another internet post went viral, where a woman named Niharikaa Kaur Sodhi was seen comparing the lifestyle in the US with that of India. From fresh air to less traffic and minimal population, the woman had quite a few pointers. However, the post left people, especially desis, triggered as they called the comparison ‘unfair’.
The post was captioned, “Day 11 today in the US, and here’s a thought I had yesterday evening. It might trigger some of you. But if online text with somebody’s opinion triggers you, that's a space you should totally work on and protect for your own energy.”

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Let’s talk on Day 60 when you have washed your own clothes for the 100th time, vacuumed the carpet, separated out your garbage into 2 separate bags, and are maintaining your lawn as per homeowners association and filling your own petrol at the pump. Or are you renting - in which case you will swallow all the racist comments about how Indians are difficult to rent to because they stink up the houses with their curry smell and hang their chaddis out in public instead of using the dryer, just for some clean air,” a user said.
“Living in Melbourne for 15 years and temporarily moving to Mumbai ai could see the difference clearly. You are 100% correct. We hardly had food deliveries in Melbourne but every day in Mumbai because of pollution, traffic etc,” a second person. “Living in Melbourne for 15 years and temporarily moving to Mumbai ai could see the difference clearly. Soon after Niharikaa's post went viral, she again took to social media to react to all the 'negativity' she has been garnering on her post. She wrote, "My last two posts have given me an insaneeeee amount of negativity. They got over half a million views on Twitter and 300K+ on LinkedIn. I kinda expected it. And maybe that’s why I’m unaffected? Idk."
