Indian Railways Viral Video: After the Delhi metro and the Mumbai local train, it seems like petty fights and ugly dramas have become a ‘new norm’ for the Indian Railways’ trains as well. Social media has been witnessing quite a number of such cases from the past few months. Adding to the list, another incident stole the spotlight, after a video of two women passengers fighting with each other went viral. The women passengers, as per the viral video, were fighting over a seat, while the incident allegedly unfolded on the ‘Patna to Kanpur’ train. The date of the incident could not be confirmed.

The video went viral almost instantly, with people reacting to it. Most dubbed such seat issues and fights a ‘new norm’ for the Indian Railways’ trains, while the rest called it an increasing issue and demanded a solution from authorities.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’. The post was captioned, “Kalesh b/w Passengers Inside Patna To Kanpur Train over seat issues.” The video was shared two days ago and pulled 61K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “That's why the upper seat is the best. You can just sit and enjoy, and make videos comfortably,” a user said. “In such a situation, it is always the upper berth people who have the fun. This is a great reason why from now on, I will always go for the upper berth,” wrote another. “It was fun watching these people fight,” added a third person.

“Train Fights have become the new normal now,” commented a fourth person. “Train me to ye har roj ki kalesh hai (This is an everyday thing for trains),” joined a fifth netizen. “It's always a pleasure to travel in general coach- Perpetually stinking washrooms. Overcrowded seats. Kalesh at every station. Someone listening to a Bhojpuri song at high volume. Political debates over gutkha sessions. Aaah the good old days,” added another.
