Gurugram Man Viral Video: It’s not luxury or laziness that keeps many young professionals from maintaining a perfect life; it’s exhaustion. A man from Gurugram recently shared a video that perfectly captures this feeling, and it has hit a nerve with thousands online. In his viral video, the man opens up about how his regular 9-to-5 job has taken over his life completely. He says he spends almost 12 hours a day working, leaving him too tired to even take care of his home or himself.
“Ye log jo bol dete hai worklife balance jaisi koi chiz nahi hoti, aaj mai dikhata hoon ki ye kyu important hai,” he begins, before showing viewers around his small rented apartment in Gurugram. The place, which costs him Rs 14,500 a month, looks like a silent witness to his daily burnout. Clothes are lying unfolded for a week, his bed remains unmade, and the floor hasn’t been cleaned. Pointing at it, he says, “Isme dhaniye ke patte jam gaye hain lekin main ye saaf nahi kar pa raha hoon.”
His kitchen tells the same story: a sink filled with dirty dishes that have been there for four days. Showing a lamp he bought to make it feel warm and homely, he adds that he had planned to use it “while watching movies during free time,” but that time never really comes anymore. Talking about the brutal work hours, he admits, “12-12 ghante ki shift, labour se bura haal ho chuka hai.”

Towards the end of the video, he makes a heartfelt appeal to three people in his life - his boss, his family, and his partner. To his boss, he says, “Sir, mai mentally pagal ho chuka hoon kaam kar kar ke, mujhe nahi chahiye paisa.” To his parents, he requests, “Samajho ki phone nahi utha raha hu toh kuch kar raha hounga.” And to the girl he cares about, his words are simple yet emotional, “Please try to understand, isse jyada main nahi kar sakta.”
