World Emoji Day: Happy World Emoji Day! Yes, such a day exists, and we are absolutely delighted to celebrate it. After all, conversations became a thousand times more interesting after emojis were introduced, don’t you agree? It might not be an official day but regardless, World Emoji Day became a thing with time, as more and more people began to celebrate it on July 17. Believe it or not, but as per reports, the date was decided based on emojis themselves. Remember the little ‘July 17’ that basically represents a calendar? Well, it seemingly played a huge role in people coming up with a date for the much-loved World Emoji Day.
Whether you are sad or happy, feeling tired or want to express your sarcasm, want to sleep away or haven’t slept for hours, the point is- you name it and your keyboard will have the emoji that might represent you or your current mood- that’s how many emojis we have. Conversations and concepts surely changed drastically, after emojis were introduced. The ever-long ‘hahahahaha’ shrunk down to laughing emojis, while the ‘byes’ or ‘see you later’ texts turned into simple ‘thumbs up’ emojis. All in all, emojis played a huge role in making otherwise time-consuming conversations much easier and pleasing to the eyes.
