TATA Launched Nano

The Indian market went out of control and the middle-class family got a classic option as far as a car is concerned as TATA Motors launched Tata Nano. It was the world's cheapest car, that debuted in 2008. It cost Rs 1 lakh.

United Nations General Assembly

Another event on the list that went down in world history was that the United Nations General Assembly assembled its first session in 1946. It came together in London’s Methodist Central Hall.

Next on the list was a sad event for the Fashion industry, as the renowned French fashion designer Coco Chanel died on 10 January 1971. She was the founder of the luxury brand Chanel.

The Indian cinema is thankful for this day as a major star was born on 10 January 1974; Hrithik Roshan. The actor was born in Mumbai and is one of the most celebrated personalities in the country. 

Kalki Koechlin

Another A-list actor who was born on this day, sharing her birthday with Roshan, is Kalki Koechlin. 

The Sopranos

Next up on the list was one of the greatest contributions to world cinema; The Sopranos. It was an HBO TV drama that aired in 1999 and starred the iconic naked like James Gandolfini and Edie Falco. It ended on June 10, 2007.
