It goes without saying that something or the other is always going around in Delhi, making it one of the cities where people have now become used to seeing all kinds of dramas. There is also no lie in the fact that half this drama is the result of how Delhiites get triggered easily, especially over petty issues. After all, social media is full of videos proving the same. However, despite all the chaos, people do somewhat love the city in the end, so the reaction to this social media post calling the national capital ‘unlivable’ was kind of understandable.
Taking to social media, an X user called Delhi ‘unlivable’, and predicted the same ‘future’ for Bangalore as well. The user also asked for suggestions over other cities that are better to live in.
The post went viral and left Delhiites offended, which was evident in the comment box. Many, however, agreed with the statement and suggested cities like Pune, Mumbai, and more as the next ‘ideal cities’ to live in.
The post was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘AnjaliLal14’. The post read, “Bangalore is not going to be liveable in next 5 years. Just like Delhi isn't now. Folks, which city are we all planning to go to and make unliveable next?”

Just like Delhi isn't now.
Folks, which city we all planning to go to and make unliveable next?
The post was shared a day ago and pulled 393K views from people. The post went viral almost immediately and gained a whole lot of reaction. Most people suggested new cities and sighted their pros, while the rest were left ‘offended’ over the X user’s take on Delhi, as seen in the comments.

Talking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Mysore has my vote,” a user said. “The problem with Bangalore and Delhi is civic sense. In spite of being the highest education per capita, Bangalore is on par with Delhi in a civic sens. Unfortunately, Mumbai is being killed by systemic corruption else the city is unbeatable. Other Options are Hyderabad, Indore, Pune,” added a second person.
“Kochi is a great candidate. Metro, malls, tech company scenes, international airport, great tourist spots nearby, etc,” added another. “Wdym Delhi isn’t liveable? And please come up with a better reason than pollution,” commented a fourth user. “Delhi is good in infrastructure. Pollution is an issue but that is for nearly the whole of North India to a certain extent. Delhi is better than Bangalore in water availability,” wrote another.
