Baba Siddiqui was born on 13 September 1958 in Bihar. His native village is Shaikh Toli Village in Gopalganj, Bihar. He recently visited there in 2018.
It is said that his father moved to Mumbai from Gopalganj about 5 decades ago. Baba was only 5 years old when his father left Ancestral village.
Baba started political journey from his student days only. In 1977, he joined Congress party's student wing ( NSUI).
Talking about his education qualifications, Baba Ziauddin Siddiqui was a B.Com graduate from MMK university, Mumbai.
In 1992, he was elected as municipal Councillor in Mumbai and then became MLA for three consecutive times (1999 to 2014).
His catch on Bollywood was also strong and well known. Every year he used to organise an Iftar parties where big wigs of Bollywood used to come.
Baba Siddiqui was very close to Shah Rukh and Salman Khan. He was the one who ended the refutes between SRK & Salman Khan.
Baba Ziauddin Siddiqui was married to Shehzeen Siddiqui and had two children Zeeshan Siddiqui (son) and Arshia Siddiqui (daughter).
Many stars including Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, Raj kundra and others rushed to hospital after the news broke out.
