There is a mild increase in the active COVID-19 cases in India. The total number of active cases crossed the 1000 mark in India, with a few cities being hit more.
According to the data shared by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total active cases are above 1000, and Delhi, Kerala and Maharashtra have reported the most cases.
There are a few Indian states and UTs that have reported zero COVID-19 cases. They are: Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand and etc.
The health ministries are carefully examining the root cause of the spread as the virus has not only affected India but also various parts of Asia. Though the rise is low, but we should be careful.
Prevention is important to stop the spread of the virus. If you notice any symptoms, consult a doctor. Wash your hands, maintain hygiene, wear masks and avoid going to crowded places.
