It is important to maintain a healthy diet during a heatwave to protect yourself. Avoid high-protein food and stale food.
Avoid leaving your children or pets in parked vehicles. If they stay there for hours, their body may absorb more heat than usual.
If a person suffers from heatstroke, try to cool down the body’s temperature by wiping them with damp clothes. Give them a hydrating drink and take them to the nearest hospital.
