These are keratin deposits of nails. These are known as leukonychia.
Dryness causes these white sports on your nails. It might be fungal infection or allergic reaction to your nails extensions as well.
It is best to take sometime off from nail extensions. It can happen from the tools used by the nail specialist at the salon.
If you have injury or it is not frequent, you need not to worry but if it is getting worse then you need medical attention from dermatologist.
