Poi Saag is rich in iron, calcium, and vitamins. It's a nutritious and wholesome dish that's perfect for women observing the Jitiya Vrat.
Take a bunch of Poi Saag, two tablespoons of mustard oil, one small chopped onion, two cloves of garlic, one small ginger, one green chilli and salt.
Wash and chop the Poi Saag. Heat mustard oil in a pan, add chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
Add chopped Poi Saag and green chilli to the pan. Cook until the spinach is tender. Season with salt to taste.
Serve hot with rice or roti. You can also add a dollop of ghee for extra flavour.
