Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated his stand to demolish Hamas asserting that he would even "stand firm against the world if necessary", ANI quoted Times of Israel as saying. This came amid global criticism that Israel has been attracting owing to its unbridled attacks in Gaza.

Netanyahu sought support from Western leaders stating that their victory in an ongoing way would mean "victory for the entire free world as well".
"Don't cave to the pressure. Our war is your war. Israel has to win for its own sake and for the world," Netanyahu said.
"In any case, no international pressure, no false allegations about IDF soldiers and our state will impact Israel's insistence on protecting itself. Israel will stand firm against the world if necessary," he added.
Notably, several nations across the world have rebuked Israel over the deteriorating humanitarian situation and the civilian casualties in the Gaza Strip.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Friday urged more was needed to be done to protect civilians in war-torn Gaza, adding that "far too many Palestinians have been killed" during the war.
India, with other 145 countries, voted against a UN resolution that was adopted on November 9 to condemn Israeli settlements in Palestine. Earlier, India abstained from voting on a UN resolution which sought a truce in Gaza as the resolution did not condemn Hamas.
Israel launched a massive operation against Palestinian militant movement Hamas after the latter, in a surprise attack, showered as many as 5,000 missiles in Israeli territory.
Hamas militants rampaged across Israeli cities and abducted as many as 222 civilians.
