In a tragic accident, two Indian students from Cleveland State University died in a fatal road accident on the Pennsylvania Turnpike early Saturday morning, May 10. The victims are identified as 23-year-old Saurav Prabhakar and 20-year-old Manav Patel.

According to the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office, both students died from multiple traumatic injuries and were declared dead at the scene. The accident happened at about 7:08 am on milepost 286.5 in Brecknock Township, near the Reading Interchange. According to the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), the car veered off the roadway, crashed into a tree, and then collided with a bridge. Rescue personnel arrived on the scene shortly and found that the driver and rear-seat occupant were killed. A third passenger, in the front seat, was taken to Reading Hospital with severe injuries.
