As the Israel-Hezbollah conflict escalates, Iran launched a barrage of ballistic missiles at Israel on Tuesday in response to Israel's operations against Hezbollah allies in Lebanon. One of the Iranian missiles was fired less than a kilometre northwest of the Mossad headquarters on the outskirts of Tel Aviv.
A video verified by CNN shows what appears to be an Iranian missile exploding less than a kilometre northwest of the Mossad headquarters on the outskirts of Tel Aviv.
The video was geolocated to a high-rise apartment building in Herzliya, located less than 3 kilometres (1.8 miles) from the Israeli intelligence service's headquarters.

CNN also geolocated another video that seems to depict the missile's impact in a nearby parking lot, revealing a large crater with dirt covering nearby vehicles. This crater is situated just a few hundred meters from a cinema complex.
Images have surfaced, and media outlets have reported craters created by one of the missiles near the Mossad headquarters. One report described a crater measuring 30 feet deep and 50 feet wide, located approximately 50 to 100 feet from the headquarters.
Another Iranian rocket struck a school in Gedera, central Israel, during the missile attack on the country. Photos and videos from the site reveal significant damage to the school building, but no injuries were reported.
Netanyahu Calls Iran's Missile Attack ‘Big Mistake’, Vows Consequences
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu characterised Iran's missile attack on Israel as a "big mistake" and stated that Tehran would face consequences.
"Iran made a big mistake today and will pay for it. The Iranian regime does not understand our determination to defend ourselves and our determination to take revenge on our enemies," he said.
Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, informed Press TV that the Nevatim air base, the Netzarim military facility, and the Tel Nof intelligence unit were struck in the Tuesday night attack referred to as 'Operation True Promise II.'
