Israel-Hamas Ceasefire Live Updates: As Israelis prepare to welcome home the last 20 living hostages held by Hamas in Gaza on Monday, the International Committee of the Red Cross moved toward a collection site in northern Gaza, the Israeli military confirmed. Additional hostages are expected to be released in the coming hours.

Hamas released a list of the hostages it will hand over, alongside more than 1,900 Palestinian prisoners Israel has agreed to free as part of the ceasefire deal. The truce, now in its third day, has held steady ahead of the exchange, signalling a tentative end to the fighting that has ravaged Gaza.

Speaking en route to Israel, US President Donald Trump said the war in Gaza had “ended” and expressed optimism that the Middle East is moving toward “normalisation.” Trump is scheduled to address the Israeli parliament before flying to Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh, where he and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi will chair an international summit focused on implementing a US-led plan to stabilise Gaza and secure lasting peace in the region.
