Israel-Hamas Ceasefire Live Updates: Hamas Frees All 20 Surviving Hostages; Trump To Address Israeli Parliament Shortly

Israeli media report that a second group of 13 hostages has been handed over to the Red Cross in southern Gaza and is now on its way back to Israel.

The Israeli military said the Red Cross is en route to southern Gaza to take custody of the second group of living hostages held by Hamas. Earlier, seven hostages were released and returned to Israel. 

US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were seen travelling together in the presidential limousine after Trump’s arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. Trump is expected to deliver a key address at the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, later today.,

French President Emmanuel Macron expressed solidarity with Israeli families as Hamas handed over the first group of seven hostages to the Red Cross. He said the releases mark a step toward peace for Israel, Gaza, and the wider region, adding that France will actively participate in President Trump’s peace plan alongside Arab partners.,

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog welcomed Donald Trump at the airport, accompanied by his family members, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and US Middle East Envoy Steve Witkoff.

The seven returning hostages, Eitan Mor, Alon Ohel, Ziv Berman, Gali Berman, Guy Gilboa-Dalal, Omri Miran, and Matan Angrest, crossed into Israel, accompanied by IDF and ISA forces and are en route to a reception point in southern Israel to reunite with their families. The IDF is ready for additional hostage transfers from the Red Cross.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the upcoming return of Hamas hostages as “an evening of tears and joy.”,

The Israeli army confirmed that the seven hostages released by Hamas have been handed over and are now en route to Israeli territory.,
