- Racist stickers targeting Indian migrants found in Cessnock, Australia.
- Local MP Dan Repacholi strongly condemned the hateful material.
- Stickers demanded 'REMIGRATION NOW!' from non-white migrants.
Racist stickers targeting Indian migrants have once again come to light in Australia. The material featuring a derogatory caricature of an Indian man alongside offensive messages was found in Cessnock, New South Wales. Dan Repacholi, the local Federal Member of Parliament (MP), strongly condemned the material, calling the stickers "disgusting" and warning that hatred will not be tolerated in the community.
Racist Stickers Target Indian Migrants
The message on the sticker read: “IS THIS YOUR CULTURE? WE DON'T LIKE IT! 32% of Australia's population is foreign born. India is at the top of that list. REMIGRATION NOW!” The material explicitly demands "REMIGRATION NOW!", a phrase deeply associated with hardline anti-immigration campaigns advocating for the deportation of non-white migrants.
According to Australia Today, these stickers have been found on public property and even placed directly onto Indian grocery products inside supermarkets, sparking severe public condemnation from local officials. As the stickers surfaced online, Hunter federal MP Repacholi immediately condemned the stickers, urging residents to unite against the hateful material and help remove it from the community.

Our supporters at @FightForAust are great at getting the message out there for us. Whoever put these ones up have managed to piss off MP @DanRepacholi 👏🏻 Instead of criticising the sticker, how about you pay attention to the comments on your post and realise you should be advocating for those who agree and are against the invasion of our once beautiful country.

Hunter MP Condemns
In a post on Facebook, Repacholi stated that the sticker does not represent the local community. He made it clear that racism is not welcome in Cessnock or the wider Hunter region and promised that such hate would not go unchallenged. Calling the people responsible "cowards," Repacholi stated that the community is much stronger than the division they are trying to spread.
“Enough of this racist bullshit. Disgusting racist stickers have been put up around Cessnock today. The cowards spreading this rubbish don’t represent our community. Let me be absolutely clear. Racism isn’t welcome in Cessnock. It isn’t welcome in the Hunter. And it won’t go unchallenged. We’re better and stronger than the hate and division these people are trying to spread. If you’ve seen one, let me know where it was located so it can be reported and removed. Don’t give these cowards any more publicity than they deserve,” he wrote.
This incident follows a previous controversy in July, when racist leaflets targeting Indian migrants were distributed in letterboxes across Kurri Kurri, which is also located in the Hunter Region. Separately, another incident targeting Indians was reported in the United Kingdom, where a self-styled vigilante group confronted Indian students at a public park, questioning their presence in the country and warning them not to return.
In the footage, members of the group are seen approaching the students and asking why they had come to England. A member of the group subsequently ordered the students to stay away from the park, warning them not to return and telling them to go home.
