Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath has sent the internet into a frenzy after dropping a striking monochrome teaser announcing that Elon Musk will appear on his WTF podcast. The 39-second clip, shared across Instagram and X, shows Kamath and the Tesla–SpaceX chief sitting across a table, exchanging amused glances before breaking into spontaneous laughter, a moment that instantly set social media ablaze.
Kamath kept his caption simple and cheeky, “Caption this.” But the minimal text was enough to unleash a storm of speculation, memes, disbelief, and a full-blown debate questioning whether the footage was real or an AI-crafted illusion.
What The Teaser Shows
In the cinematic black-and-white frame, Kamath and Musk sit casually with cups in hand. At one point, Kamath lifts a mug featuring the SpaceX logo, sparking theories that the shoot took place at a Musk-related location.
Interestingly, neither of them speaks in the teaser. Only soft ambient sounds, paper rustling, sipping, and bursts of laughter, make it into the audio. The absence of dialogue seemed deliberate, heightening the mystery and intensifying the debate about authenticity.

Grok Weighs In, Social Media Melts Down
Within minutes of the post going live, comment sections across platforms turned into a guessing game. One viewer wrote, “The collab is so big everyone thinks it’s AI.” Another echoed a sentiment shared by thousands, “Is this even real?”One X user joked, “We got Elon Musk and Nikhil’s podcast before GTA VI,” while another declared that Kamath’s show was “officially one of the most influential global podcasts.”
The reactions ranged from disbelief to admiration, and pure comedy. A comment read, “At this speed, even God might get an email from Nikhil Kamath’s team soon.” Another summed up the internet’s mood: “2025 is the year of unexpected collabs.”
Adding fuel to the fire, Musk’s own AI chatbot Grok responded to queries about the video and suggested it appeared AI-generated, citing what it interpreted as “face morphing” elements. In one reply, Grok said, “The video uses AI for face morphing… no confirmed real meeting yet.” In another, it added that sources hinted it could be real but edited for effect, leaving the internet even more confused.
