A former US Air Force fighter pilot has come forward with a strange and unsettling account of encountering a mysterious flying object during a training flight near the highly classified Area 51. Major Ryan Bodenheimer, once part of the elite US Air Force Thunderbirds demonstration team, revealed details of two separate incidents involving unidentified flying objects (UFOs) at high altitudes.

The first encounter occurred while Bodenheimer was flying an F-15 jet over Wyoming. He described seeing a fast-approaching, silver object with a shiny, reflective surface. "It had the shape of a three-dimensional triangle, with wing-like protrusions and a vertical tail,” he said. The object flew past his aircraft at an estimated speed of 460 mph, and yet neither his radar nor that of his fellow pilots registered its presence. “It looked like a futuristic fighter jet,” he added.

Rectangular UFO With Pulsating Sides

In a second encounter, a bizarre rectangular object approached the pilot head-on at a high altitude. Bodenheimer described the object as having "sides so bright they were almost pulsating," with a nearly transparent center that had a faint tint. “It was unlike anything I’ve ever seen,” he said. “Aerodynamically, it shouldn’t have been flying at all, especially at speeds near 400 knots.”

The pilot acknowledged that the long-standing stigma surrounding UFO reports in the military had discouraged many from speaking out. However, he noted that the atmosphere has changed in recent years. “Over the last few years I feel like that stigma has been removed,” Bodenheimer said.

His account aligns with past reports from other military pilots. US Navy aviators have previously described seeing cube-shaped UFOs encased in clear spheres during East Coast training missions. Many of these sightings have been dismissed or classified, fueling widespread speculation about government cover-ups.

Fake Briefings And Pentagon Secrets

Sean Kirkpatrick, the former director of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), was tasked by the government in 2022 to investigate decades of UFO-related materials. During his tenure, Kirkpatrick uncovered strange practices within the military, including a longstanding hazing ritual. Air Force personnel were reportedly given fake briefings about a fictional unit named “Yankee Blue,” which was said to investigate alien technology. They were sworn to secrecy under the impression that the unit was real.

The Pentagon only issued a formal order to end this bizarre practice in 2023, leaving questions about its origin and purpose unanswered. Some speculate the fake briefings were used as loyalty tests or disinformation tactics. As new revelations emerge, stories like Bodenheimer’s continue to fuel public intrigue over the existence of UFOs and the role of military secrecy.
