America’s Richest Immigrants 2025: Ever since Republican candidate and now US President Donald Trump launched a campaign for the Presidential elections in 2022, he has been vocal against the entry of migrants into America. After becoming the US President, he launched a massive crackdown not only against illegal immigrants but also for those who want to pursue a dream job in the US. However, this couldn't help Trump those who are already in America and doing wonders for the US economy.

According to the recent report released by Forbes about America’s Richest Immigrants 2025, arecord 125 foreign-born US citizens are billionaires living in the United States. They hail from 43 countries but became rich in America, as per Forbes. 

Interestingly, 65-year-old cybersecurity mogul Jay Chaudhry, an Indian-origin, who had never been on a plane before when he flew from his native India to attend grad school at the University of Cincinnati in 1980, is now the richest Indian American. Chaudhry is CEO of Zscaler, a cybersecurity firm he founded in 2008. It went public in March 2018. He and his family own around 40 per cent of the Nasdaq-listed firm.

In 2022, there were seven billionaires of Indin origin. The number surged to 12-- thehighest among the list of America's Richest Immigrants 2025-- surpassing Israel, which is currently in the second position.

Besides Indians, Elon Musk, South Africa born, moved to Canada for college and later became a US citizen in 2002. He's now the world's wealthiest person, with an estimated net worth of $393.1 billion. Musk's journey to US citizenship involved entering the country on a student visa, transitioning to a work visa, and eventually obtaining a green card before becoming a citizen.

India has made a significant mark on the global billionaire landscape, with five new immigrant billionaires joining Forbes' list, the second-highest number after the United States. Notably, India has surpassed Israel as the top birthplace of billionaire immigrants, boasting 12 individuals with a net worth of billions. Some of the prominent Indian-origin billionaires include:

Alphabet CEO: Sundar Pichai, 53, with an estimated net worth of around $115 billion, isn't his current net worth; his compensation as the CEO has significant market cap wealth associated, $1209 billion market cap wealth

Microsoft Chief: Satya Nadella, 57, leading Microsoft with a market cap of $1920 billion

Palo Alto Networks CEO: Nikesh Arora, 57, who has been at the helm of the cybersecurity company since 2018

These individuals are part of a larger trend of Indian-origin CEOs excelling globally, with others like Neal Mohan (YouTube CEO), Ajay Banga, Jayshree Ullal, and Vimal Kapur holding top positions in multinational companies.
