A light-hearted joke about dating turned into a viral moment when Ryanair, Europe's largest budget airline group, delivered a brutal comeback to an Indian Hinge user who poked fun at the carrier in his dating profile.

Shivam Jobanputra once shared a screenshot of his Hinge bio, listing his "most irrational fear" as Ryanair. He tagged the airline and asked them to rate his prompt. It was meant to be a purely humorous post, but it immediately turned into a moment in social media worldwide once Ryanair noticed it.

Ryanair's Return Sparks Social Mdia Frenzy

Living up to its reputation for bold, unapologetic replies, Ryanair fired back with "This is why you are single." The reply immediately took off across X, drawing thousands of reactions. Users praised the airline's trademark wit and called the comeback one of its most savage responses in recent months. Many said the social media handler deserved a raise for maintaining Ryanair's now-famous snarky tone.

Several people joined in with jokes of their own. One remarked, “Savage. Pure emotional damage.” Another said, “Community manager needs a raise.” Others joked the airline's digital handler should be "arrested" for the level of chaos the reply generated. Many suggested he should now change his Hinge profile to say he was "roasted by Ryanair".
