One of the United States Embassy's branches in Tel Aviv sustained minor damage after Iranian missiles were fired overnight, as the Israel-Iran conflict entered its fourth day in a row. The missile assault raised new concerns of a war out of control in the region. The wave of missiles prompted fresh fears of a regional war spiraling out of control. Mike Huckabee, the American Ambassador to Israel, said that the Embassy Branch in Tel Aviv suffered minor structural damage due to the shockwave produced by missiles exploding nearby. There were no casualties reported at the American diplomatic compound. "Our US Embassy in Israel & Consulate will officially remain closed today as shelter in place is still in effect. Some minor damage from concussions of Iranian missile hits near Embassy Branch in Tel Aviv, but no injuries to US personnel," Huckabee said in a post on X.

Trump Already Warned Iran

US President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to clarify that the United States had “nothing to do with” the Israeli-led strikes on Iran. “If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the US Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before,” Trump said, in a stark threat to Tehran. Trump added that peace can be “easily” brokered between Iran and Israel through diplomatic talks, expressing concern over the escalating conflict in the Middle East. Despite all efforts, a scheduled US-Iran nuclear talks in Oman were suddenly cancelled on Sunday, adding to fears that diplomatic solutions are slipping out of reach.

Israel-Iran conflict Hits Fourth Day

Iran fired more than 100 missiles at Israeli cities such as Tel Aviv and Haifa late on Sunday, the heaviest bombing since war erupted on June 13. According to reports by Al Arabiya and Israeli state media, missile sirens blared across Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, forcing civilians into bomb shelters. Israel’s Iron Dome air defence system intercepted many of the projectiles, but several still managed to strike civilian and military infrastructure. A massive fire is said to have erupted in Haifa following an Iranian missile attack on a large refinery, leaving at least four people injured. Thick clouds of smoke could be seen over the city in videos being shared online. The Wall Street Journal reported Israel has attacked all three of Iran's key nuclear sites, Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan. Satellite imagery has been said to indicate widespread damage at the Natanz facility, including uranium enrichment plants.
