Gandhi Hospital in Iran’s capital Tehran suffered extensive damage in the US-Israeli airstrikes. Videos circulating on social media show panic and chaos outside the hospital.

Footage clearly shows the damage to the hospital building on Gandhi Street. Windows were shattered and debris was strewn across the entry gate. In separate clips shared by Iran's Tasnim news agency, nurses can be seen carrying children in their arms as they rush to evacuate wards amid loud alarms.

Patients Taken To Be Taken To Street

Two witnesses told Reuters that Israeli strikes on Sunday directly targeted the hospital area, severely damaging it and forcing staff to evacuate patients to the street. Videos showed people running in different directions, some calling for relatives, as smoke billowed in the background. It was not immediately clear how many people were injured at the hospital.

Loud Explosions Rock Northern Tehran

The attack came as reports of explosions in northern Tehran emerged late Sunday. Israel has said it is expanding its offensive into the heart of the Iranian capital following the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader in a joint US-Israeli operation a day earlier. The increasing attacks have raised fears for civilian safety in densely populated areas.
