The automobile industry of the world is undergoing a transformative change as electric vehicles take the centre stage. Almost all automakers across the globe are introducing EV models and this trend has been visible at the LA Auto Show as well. Some of the leading automobile manufacturers such as Kia, Hyundai and Lucid have showcased a bunch of upcoming cars and concepts at the ongoing LA Auto Show. Let's take a look at some of the vehicles displayed at the show. 

Hyundai Ioniq 5 N 

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is the performance oriented variant of Hyundai’s popular EV model, the Ioniq 5. The Ioniq 5 N is built on the standard Ioniq 5's Electrified-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), with N motorsport technologies to enhance its performance. The vehicle incorporates a specially-tuned N R-MDPS (Rack-Mounted Motor-Driven Power Steering) system with a quicker steering ratio and improved torque feedback logic. The introduction of the N Pedal prioritises fast and thrilling cornering over just energy efficiency. Additionally, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N features an upgraded electric propulsion system with enhanced battery cooling and N Brake Regen, housing a new 84 kWh battery pack. Moreover, there is an N Race feature that allows drivers to choose between 'Endurance' and 'Sprint' modes for better control on the track.

Lucid Gravity 

The Lucid Gravity is the second EV model of the American EV manufacturer. The Lucid Gravity is an electric SUV that is equipped with electric motors that are capable of generating an impressive power output of 800 bhp. With such power output, the SUV has the potential to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in a mere 3.5 seconds. According to Lucid, the Gravity SUV boasts an extraordinary driving range of 708 km on a full charge, setting a new standard as no other electric SUV has ever offered such extensive driving range after a single charge.

Kia EV3 Concept

The Kia EV3 concept showcases a unique design with a front-pushed windshield, a sloping roofline, a disconnected C pillar that creates a floating appearance on the roof and flared wheel arches. Inside the EV3 concept, you'll find soft mood lighting and a minimalistic dashboard. The vehicle boasts an advanced and practical seat design made using lightweight natural fibre materials.

Kia EV4 Concept 

Kia EV4 concept features unique character lines on its exterior, a low nose, a long rear silhouette and a technical roof spoiler. The headlights are vertically positioned on the outer edges of the hood and front bumper. Inside the EV4 sedan concept, there's a distinctive HVAC user interface featuring a control panel that can be stored in the centre console when not in use. It also gets pin-style air vents.

Kia Sorento SUV 

Kia has showcased the facelifted Sorento SUV at the LA Auto Show. The facelifted Sorento SUV is an ICE model and features a more boxy and angular design . The facelift includes an upright front hood and squared-off edges looking similar to the Telluride full-size SUV. Inside, the Sorento's interior has undergone modifications as it now gets a panoramic curved display that seamlessly connects two 12.3-inch cluster and infotainment screens like that in the Kia EV9 model.
