  1. Three accused in Tiger Shroff firing case remanded to custody.
  2. Seven more arrested in Delhi, Haryana; total now eight.
  3. Police investigate larger conspiracy, Bishnoi gang links, weapons.

The Mumbai Police have arrested two more people from Haryana in connection with the firing incident targeting actor Tiger Shroff's car in Mumbai's Juhu area, taking the total number of arrests in the case to 10.

The latest arrests come as investigators continue to probe the alleged conspiracy and the weapons supply network linked to the October 18 firing. The accused are suspected of having links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

The development follows the remand of three accused to police custody until October 31 by the 37th Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Wednesday. The police told the court that the larger conspiracy was yet to be uncovered and that the weapons used in the firing had not been recovered.

The prosecution also alleged that the accused had destroyed the mobile phones used in the crime. Investigators are examining the financial transactions linked to the incident, tracing the disposal of the phones and establishing the roles of others allegedly involved in the conspiracy.

Police Say Accused Are Habitual Offenders

The three accused produced before the court were identified as Rehan Ansari, Phool Singh and Hrithik Mahtoo alias Roshan. The prosecution described the incident as serious and claimed that the accused were habitual offenders.

It argued that further custodial interrogation was necessary to establish the extent of the alleged conspiracy and identify the roles played by other people involved in the firing.

Advocate Ajinkya Mirgal, appearing for Ansari, opposed the extension of police custody. He argued that the police had already secured transit remand for the accused from Kota and that additional arrests had also been made.

The defence lawyer questioned the need for continued police custody and requested that the three accused be remanded to magisterial custody. The court, however, remanded them to police custody until October 31.

Police Probe Alleged Weapons Supply Network

Four of the other accused were arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell on October 20. They have been identified as Kunal, 21, Sumit, 19, Radha, 23, and Babita, 23.

Investigators allege that Kunal and Sumit procured a pistol and 20 cartridges from Amritsar on the instructions of Anil Pandit, described as an associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Radha and Babita allegedly transported the weapon to Mumbai by train and handed it over to a minor boy.

The four were subsequently handed over to the Mumbai Police for further investigation. Police are examining the alleged weapons supply chain, the movement of the firearm and communications between the accused.

Another accused, identified as Ankit, was arrested in Baroda village in Haryana's Sonipat district in a joint operation by the Gohana Police and Mumbai Police. Investigators suspect that he was involved in the alleged plot and was in contact with Pandit.
