Honda Motors,the Japanese automobile manufacturer, has unveiled the updated 2025 Honda Civic. The Honda Civic was launched in India for the first time in 2006 and was then discontinued from the market in 2020. This decision was influenced due to the low demand of sedans in the country. However, Honda Civic has been an extremely popular model among car enthusiasts from across the globe.

2025 Honda Civic - Exterior Design
The updated Civic sedan showcases a redesigned front profile featuring a larger and sportier grille compared to the previous model. The headlights have also undergone modifications and now include new body-colored accents underneath for a more aggressive appearance. The front bumper has been redesigned, adding a muscular touch and a broader intake mouth. Additionally, the 2025 Honda Civic also gets new glossy seven-spoke wheels, side skirts and black Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs). From the back, though the rear profile hasn't been fully unveiled, it showcases updated tail lamps with a smoked effect. Noteworthy design elements include the prominent Sport Touring badging and a small Hybrid badge positioned on the bottom right.
2025 Honda Civic - Interior
The interior details of the 2025 Honda Civic have not yet been revealed but there will be alterations within its cabin as well. One of the features could be the incorporation of a new entertainment system and it's likely to be the same one used in the new Honda Accord.

2025 Honda Civic - Powertrain
The 2025 Honda Civic will feature a hybrid powertrain setup similar to the Accord and CR-V but may have a smaller 1.5-litre petrol engine. For the regular Civic models, which currently have a 2.0-litre and a 1.5-litre turbo engine, Honda plans to arrange them similar to the CR-V and Accord. This means some trims will only be nonhybrids, and others will only be hybrids.
2025 Honda Civic - India Launch
The 2025 Honda Civic will initially be launched in the US followed by other markets. There is no confirmation on whether the 2024 Civic will be launched in India, however, we all hope that Honda plans to bring back its competitive sedan via the CBU or CKD route in India.
