2025 Yamaha MT 15 V2: Yamaha has launched the 2025 iteration of the MT 15 Version 2 bike in India. The updated model comes in two variants: STD and DLX. The former is priced at Rs 1.69 lakhs, while the latter can be had at Rs 1.81 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom. 

For MY2025, the DLX variant of the MT 15 Version 2 gets a new colour TFT screen which comes with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. With this update, riders will be able to access features such as music controls, call/message alerts, fuel consumption data, and parking location. Another update is in the form of fresh colour options - Vivid Violet Metallic and Ice Storm. The STD variant also gets a new colour option - Metallic Silver Cyan, although it retains the same dash. Bookings are underway for the 2025 model.

2025 Yamaha MT 15 V2: Engine, Hardware 

Other than the aforementioned updates, the 2025 iteration remains untouched. It continues to use a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which develops 18.4 bhp and 14.1 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox, assisted by a slipper clutch.

Suspension setup of the bike consists of a USD (upside-down) telescopic front fork and a rear mono-shock, while braking duties are performed by a 282mm front and a 220mm rear disc. The bike comes fitted with 17-inch alloys shod with a 100/80-17 tubeless tyre up front and a 140/70R-17 tyre at the rear.

In terms of market competition, the 2025 Yamaha MT 15 V2 goes against the Apache RTR 200 4V and the Pulsar NS200.
