Honda CB125 Hornet Price in India: Honda has launched its 125cc sporty commuter bike - the CB125 Hornet - in India. Priced at Rs 1.12 lakhs (introductory, ex-showroom), the Honda CB125 Hornet gets a segment-first golden upside-down (USD) front fork, along with a 123.94cc air-cooled engine that is also found on the Shine 125 and the SP 125. Bookings for the CB125 Hornet are underway, with deliveries likely to commence soon. 

Honda CB125 Hornet: Engine, Gearbox

Honda has equipped the CB125 Hornet with a 123.94cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Power and torque figures stand at 10.9 bhp at 7,500rpm and 11.2 Nm at 6,000rpm, respectively. 0-60Km/h comes up in 5.4 seconds, making the CB125 Hornet the fastest bike in its class.

Honda CB125 Hornet: Suspension, Braking Hardware

The segment-first USD front fork comes with a pre-adjustable rear mono-shock, while braking duties are taken care of by a 40mm petal disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear. The braking setup is accompanied by single-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). 

The CB125 Hornet sits on alloy wheels wrapped in 80/100-17 front and 110/80-17 rear tubeless tyres. It has a kerb weight of 124 Kg, while the tank can hold up to 12 litres of fuel - the largest in the segment.

Honda CB125 Hornet: Features, Colour Options

The CB125 Hornet features a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The display is the same as the Hornet 2.0. The bike also has all-LED illumination, a split headlamp setup, and an angular tail section. A USB-C charging port is standard with the bike.

Four colour options are on offer: Pearl Igneous Black; Pearl Siren Blue with Lemon Ice Yellow; Pearl Siren Blue with Sports Red; and Pearl Siren Blue with Athletic Blue Metallic. The last three are dual-tone options. In terms of market competition, the Honda CB125 Hornet will rival the Hero Xtreme 125R, Bajaj Pulsar N125, and the TVS Raider.
